Transportation Infrastructure 

The Village of Clinton is responsible for snow removal, general clean up and maintenance of roads within the community. A contractor for the provincial government provides general road maintenance, snow removal and paving for several provincial highways and side roads throughout the Clinton area. 

Major Highways

Clinton is located in the South Central Interior about 120 kilometres northwest of Kamloops and 334 kilometres north of Vancouver on Highway 97. The nearest municipality is Cache Creek located at the junction of Highway 97 and the Trans Canada Highway 1, 40 kilometres south of Clinton. 100 Mile House is located 74 kilometres north of Clinton on Highway 97, and Lillooet is located 77 kilometres southwest on Highway 99. 

YCS Community Bus:

The Village of Clinton in partnership with the Village of Ashcroft provide a low cost bus service to Kamloops  every Monday and Ashcroft every Wednesday and Friday.

Air Services 

The closest scheduled air service is provided at the Kamloops Airport. The Kamloops airport accommodates two scheduled airline companies that provide flights to Vancouver, Calgary and Prince George. There is an average of more than 75 scheduled flights in and out of the airport every week. The runway and the navigation system allow for the landing of modern commercial jets and turbo-prop aircraft.

An airport runway is also available in Ashcroft. The Campbell Hill Airport, located seven kilometres north of Ashcroft, is shared with Cache Creek. The paved airstrip is 3,310 feet long and can accommodate modern commercial jets and turbo-prop aircraft.
